I can’t say enough good things about the nursing team at Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center. From the moment I walk in, Sherri and Rachel make me feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. They take their time, explain everything, and always make what could be a stressful experience feel easy and even enjoyable. You can tell they truly care about their patients and want the best outcomes for everyone. I actually look forward to my visits, and that

says a lot!

Sherri Ledford, RN, BSN & Rachel Iancu, RN, MSN

Our nursing team plays a vital role in the patient experience at Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center. Sherri and Rachel work closely together to support patients through every step of their visit, from lab testing and IV therapy to preparing patients for their time with our practitioners. Their combined experience and compassionate approach help create a comfortable, supportive environment where patients feel truly cared for.

With decades of combined experience across hospital, emergency, cardiac, and critical care settings, they bring both clinical excellence and a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Their transition into integrative medicine reflects a shared passion for helping patients achieve lasting wellness by focusing on root causes rather than simply managing symptoms.

In their roles, they assist with rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing blood draws for advanced laboratory testing, administering IV therapies and therapeutic injections, and supporting providers throughout the day. They are also dedicated to helping patients navigate cost-effective options for their care, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

They believe what sets Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center apart is the time, attention, and intention given to each patient. For both Sherri and Rachel, the most rewarding part of their work is seeing patients improve, regain their energy, and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Sherri Ledford, RN, BSN

Sherri Ledford, RN, BSN, is an experienced registered nurse with decades of clinical experience across emergency, cardiac, and acute care settings. Her journey into healthcare began early, growing up in a medical family and developing a lifelong passion for caring for others. She began her career in the hospital setting in 1994, became an LPN in 1998, earned her RN in 2008, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018.

Throughout her career, Sherri has worked in high-acuity medical-surgical units, the emergency department, and the cardiac catheterization lab, including travel nursing in high-intensity environments. After many years in traditional medicine, she was drawn to integrative care through her own experience as a patient at Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center, where she has now been a patient for over 15 years.

In her role, Sherri supports all aspects of patient care, including lab work, IV therapy, and assisting practitioners, while also helping ensure patients receive the most cost-effective options for their treatment. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, positive experience and enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, especially those she sees regularly.

Sherri finds the greatest reward in seeing patients feel better and hearing their success stories. She brings warmth, humor, and genuine care to every interaction.

Outside of the office, Sherri enjoys spending time with her husband, her two adult sons, and her young grandson. Family is her top priority, and she comes from a hockey-loving household that enjoys time together.

Rachel Iancu, RN, MSN

Rachel Iancu, RN, MSN, is a dedicated registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. Her passion for caring for others began at a young age and led her to pursue a career in nursing after initially considering veterinary medicine. She started her career as an STNA and veterinary assistant before earning her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2012, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015, and her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2019. She is currently continuing her education as a Family Nurse Practitioner student, with plans to graduate in 2027.

Rachel has worked in a variety of settings, including critical care, hospice, and nursing education and administration. Her experience in acute care inspired her to transition into integrative medicine, where she could focus on prevention and helping patients thrive before reaching more serious health challenges.

At Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center, Rachel works closely with patients through lab testing, IV therapy, and clinical support. She is committed to making patients feel welcomed, valued, and at ease, and believes strongly in building trust and forming meaningful connections with each individual she cares for.

Rachel finds great fulfillment in seeing patients improve and regain their quality of life, knowing she played a part in their journey. She especially enjoys getting to know patients beyond their health concerns and developing lasting relationships.

Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and their four pets—two dogs and two cats. She loves being outdoors, bird watching, and caring for animals. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, and is currently learning Romanian, adding a fun and personal touch to her daily life.
