Mannitol Injection Therapy (MIT)
A new treatment for chronic pain has emerged from Down Under that is dramatically effective for is a very effective for most injuries, including joint, tendon, ligament and muscle pain. The treatment involves using a substance called mannitol. The solution is injected immediately under the skin with a very fine (30ga)needle, addressing the source of the pain with a demonstrated success rate of 85%. Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment (OMT)
Osteopathic medicine was founded in 1874 by Andrew Taylor Still, a US medical doctor (MD). While osteopathic and chiropractic manipulation overlap in many ways , they are not identical. Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial Osteopathy is a medical treatment applied by licensed physicians (MD or DO) who have completed a medical education and numerous years of additional training in this specialty. Basic introductory courses in cranial osteopathy include 40 to 80 hours of intense training. At Tenpenny IMC, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny has been highly trained in the study of anatomy and physiology of the cranium and its inter-relationship with the body as a whole. This gentle technique can be used for the prevention AND for the treatment of disease. Osteopathy in the cranial field is an expansion of the general principles of osteopathy.
