Michael Furci NP-C

Mike began his career in helping others achieve their goals in 1987 as a personal coach while attaining his Bachelor of Science in health education from Bowling Green State University.  As his business grew, Mike wanted his clients to be able to train with the best equipment in a clean, motivating environment.  This led him to opening a gym and training facility, Club Olympia Fitness Center.

Club Olympia was in business for 11 years. During that time, Club Olympia was named "Best Gym in Cleveland" while Mike was named "Best Trainer in Cleveland" multiple times.  Mike's clientele included those who were overweight and deconditioned to college and professional athletes.

Mike was a firefighter/paramedic for the City of Lorain for 20 years while continuing as a personal coach for athletes, overweight, and obese individuals, many struggling with diabetes.  He also worked for the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals as a registered nurse in their Emergency Departments and Psych Units.

Over the years, Mike witnessed how allopathic medicine mismanaged his patients, clients, family, and friends.  This disillusionment with healthcare began his interest in becoming a provider, to be part of the solution to a system that treats an illness's symptoms, not the cause.  And in November of 2017, He began pursuing his Master of Science degree in nursing.

Mike was fortunate to finish two semesters of his clinical training working alongside Dr. Sherri Tenpenny. And in August of 2020, he graduated as a family nurse practitioner through Chamberlain University.  Since Graduation, Mike has proudly worked at the Tenpenny Integrative Medical Center, guiding individuals to become the best, most healthy versions of themselves, seeing them as more than the sum of their parts with their unique values and preferences.
